If you're not knitting, the terrorists win

(My mostly on-topic ramblings about knitting. And life in general. My life in specific.)

I'm a middle aged mother of 2 grown children and wife to a man who doesn't seem to mind my almost heroin-like yarn addiction. I spend my time writing, knitting, and generally stressing out.

Ringbearer Progress

This Ringbearer Pillow knits up pretty quickly for lace. But you know, even if it is lace, it's still only an 8 inch square of lace, right?

Here is the lace pillow top, blocking. You see that I don't have an actual blocking board and just have a towel-covered piece of cardboard. But it works. You just have to imagine that lace sitting on top of a white satin pillow.

So, next up is attaching this to the pillow. Then beading it. Then adding the ribbon and the two fake rings. (For some reason, they don't want to take the chance that the best man will untie the real rings and then drop them so they roll under the piano. Like what happened at my wedding.)
