I Am Seriously Addicted To Ravelry
I can't help it, though. It's so cool to see what others are knitting. And then I think, "Oh I want that!" or "That's what I can do with that yarn!" or "I wonder if I can do that this way?"
Here are some of the things I have in my queue:
I love this hat. I like the simplicity. I like the big button. I know everyone and their sister has made this hat. But I still want one.
Love this scarf. For the opposite reason. I like the complexity of it. I like that not everyone would have a scarf like this. I like knowing that this scarf would take actual skill to knit. This scarf would definitely be for me.
These are cute. I see myself making these for my office-mates this year, for Christmas. I would, of course, personalize them, to match each person's interests.
Baby stuff. As you know, I've already made a punky Baby Flamez hat for my soon-to-be-born niece. I think she needs some Chuck Taylor booties, too.
I'd also like to make this little sweater. But in a black/pink combo, because I think black sweaters are cool on babies. I like the red, but I'm thinking black and pink is the way I'm going with this.
This afghan is a great way to use all the scraps I've collected over the years. I actually started this a long time ago. But, as it is my scrap project, what I have is... a bag of squares. Now I just need someone to weave in all those ends and seam this puppy together.
Hm. I guess I'm going to call this my "Retirement Plan."
