FO: Advent Ornament #13
Sugar Mouse: Finished!
Here is the 13th Advent Ornament, the Sugar Mouse.
I was able to get some seaming needles for use while I sit on myprison recovery couch. So I finished off this mouse. He looks like a cute rat, really. It might be because he's so big. Or it might be because we were talking tonight about M's pet rat.
M brought him home with her on the last day of sixth grade because "No one else would take him." Well, let me tell you, there was a reason for that. It was an evil creature that did nothing but chew things, bite people, and shit.
Anyway, I don't know what the significance of a mouse is for Christmas--except maybe one line in one Christmas poem--but I'm putting him on the Advent Garland anyway. My cats will appreciate it.
