FO: Advent Ornament #14
Sitting on the couch with my leg elevated at least gives me the opportunity to get some knitting done. At least with the yarn and needles I can reach.
So, here is the 14th Advent Ornament, the Christmas Light, by Kimberly Chapman. It's not really one of the Advent Garland Ornaments, but I am using it as one because I like it. I decided to do this one in gold, since red and green are really well represented on the garland so far.
It's a pretty quick pattern. I knit this one while watching an episode of Archer, On Demand. So, what is that? Twenty-three minutes? Not too bad.
Really, the only pain-in-the-ass thing about this pattern is the very beginning, that pointy part, where you cast on 3 stitches on 3 needles and knit one 3-stitch row. That's pretty awkward.
On the up side, it did provide me the opportunity to teach my cats some new swear words.
My dog was a little shocked, though.
